Who gets to see your plan, and who can find it.
When you create a plan, you choose who can discover it. There are three visibility options:
- invite only: Your plan won't show up anywhere. Only people you invite can see it.
- friends: All of your Pie friends will automatically see your plan. On Pie, friends are people you follow who also follow you back. This is the default.
- public: Your plan shows up for everyone on Pie. Anyone can join and share the link.
Choosing your visibility
You can set or change visibility at any time, before or after publishing. Open your plan, tap ⋯, then Edit Plan, and choose invite only, friends, or public.
How "Guests Can Invite Others" affects visibility
Even if your plan is set to friends, turning on Guests Can Invite Others (in Advanced Settings) lets your attendees share the plan with people who aren't your friends. Those people can join or request to join, depending on your Request to Join setting.
This means a friends plan with Guests Can Invite Others turned on is more open than it looks. If you want to keep your guest list tight, turn that setting off.

Can I change visibility after publishing?
Yes. You can update it anytime, even after people have joined.
If my plan is set to friends, can people who follow me see it?
Only if you follow them back. Friends are people you follow who also follow you back.
If my plan is set to friends, can strangers still find it?
Only if an attendee shares the link with them directly and you have Guests Can Invite Others turned on. It won't appear in their feed or search.
Does visibility affect the plan link?
The plan link always works for people who already have it. But on an invite only plan, only invited guests can open it.
