Following is one-way — you stay in their loop without needing them to follow back.
When you follow someone, you'll see their activity in your feed. They don't have to follow you back for it to work.
📱 On the App
To follow:
- Open someone's profile.
- Tap Follow.
To unfollow:
- Go back to their profile.
- Tap Following → confirm Unfollow.
💻 On the Web
To follow:
- Sign in at getpie.app and open someone's profile.
- Click Follow.
To unfollow:
- Go to their profile and click Following → Unfollow.

💡 Following someone doesn't unlock direct messaging on its own. To DM someone, you'll need to have your stars aligned.
FAQ
Will someone know if I follow them?
Yes — they'll get a notification when you follow them.
Will someone know if I unfollow them?
No. Unfollowing is silent.
Can I follow someone who has blocked me?
No. You can't follow someone who has blocked you, and you can't follow someone you've blocked.
What happens to my follows if I block someone?
Both directions are removed. If you were following them and they were following you, both are deleted when the block is placed.
Is there a limit to how many people I can follow?
No limit.
