- Open their profile.
- Tap the ⭐ icon.
To unstar:
- Go to their profile.
- Tap the star again to remove it.

What is Stars Aligned?
When you star someone who has already starred you back, you've got Stars Aligned. Both of you get a notification:
"⭐ you stars aligned with [name]! Check out their profile."
Stars Aligned also unlocks direct messaging between you — so you can actually talk.
💡 You can star anyone on Pie — no need to follow them first. Stars are independent of follows and friend requests.

What happens to stars if I block someone?
Stars are removed in both directions when a block is placed — including Stars Aligned status.
