Once your plan is live, here's everything you can do to manage it — from your guest list to editing details to understanding what's locked in.
RSVP options by plan type
What guests can do depends on how the plan is set up:
- Open plan (no capacity) — Going, Maybe, or Can't Go
- Open plan (with capacity) — Going or Can't Go (no Maybe)
- Request to Join plan — Request to join (status: Pending until host approves)
- Ticketed plan — Must purchase to confirm
Filtering your attendee list
As a host, you can filter by:
- Pending — awaiting approval on Request to Join plans
- Accepted — Going and ticketed attendees
- Declined
Approving and declining requests
On Request to Join plans, tap Pending in your attendee list to review requests. Approve or decline individually. You can edit an
Viewing and exporting guest answers
If your plan has questions for guests, here's how to see their responses:
- From the plan page, tap Manage next to Who's Going.
- Each guest's answers appear underneath their name.
- To export responses, tap the CSV icon in the top right.
The CSV will be emailed to the address on file with your Pie account. If you don't see it right away, check your spam folder just in case.
Removing a guest
You can remove guests from the attendee list. Guests with active tickets may have restrictions on removal.
Editing plan details
You can always come back and update:
- Title, description, date, time, location, cover photo
- Favorite tags
- Whether the plan is added to a Community Home you own or admin
A few things are locked in once set, though:
- Questions for guests can't be added, edited, or deleted once the plan is live
- Price and ticketing can't be changed once set — choose your plan type carefully upfront
Changing visibility and capacity
To update who's invited, or adjust capacity and whether guests can invite friends, tap More at the bottom of the plan, then Plan Visibility.
One setting can't be reversed: if you didn't originally select Request to Join, you can't switch to it later. That setting locks the moment you publish.
See Plan Visibility for more on what each setting controls.
Ticketed plans work a little differently
Once a ticketed plan is live, a few additional things are locked in:
- Date, time, and location can't be updated
- Capacity (on/off) can't be changed
- The Request to Join setting can't be updated
- Ticket type (e.g., Pie Ticketed) can't be changed
Price and everything else can still be edited.
See Ticketing on Pie for more on managing ticketed plans specifically.
FAQ
Can I approve a Maybe RSVP on a capacity plan?
Maybe RSVPs aren't available on capacity plans. If you add a capacity limit after the fact, existing Maybes drop to Invited.
Can cohosts manage RSVPs too?
Yes — cohosts have the same attendee management access as the host.
