Your inbox is where all your conversations and notifications on Pie live.
Whether someone sends you a message, invites you to a plan, or you join a group chat, you’ll find it all in one place.
📱 On the App
Open Inbox from the bottom navigation.
From here you can:
- Read direct messages
- Join plan group chats
- View friend requests
- Respond to plan invites
- See notifications related to your activity
To filter unread conversations, tap Unread at the top.
To dismiss a notification, swipe it away.

Managing conversations
Delete a message you sent
Press and hold a message you’ve sent, then tap Delete.
Leave a group chat
If you no longer want to participate in a group chat, open the conversation and tap Leave Chat.
Remove a conversation
There isn’t currently a way to manually delete an entire direct message conversation.
If you’d like to remove the conversation completely, blocking that user will also remove your chat history.
Mute a conversation
Open the conversation, tap the â‹Ż or Settings menu, then choose Mute.
FAQ
How is my inbox sorted?
By most recent activity. New messages and notifications appear at the top.
Why can I read a DM but not reply?
The conversation is frozen. The other person can see your message, but they can’t reply until you’re connected as friends or your Stars Align.
Can I delete an entire conversation?
Not at this time. You can delete individual messages you’ve sent, leave a group chat, or block someone to remove a direct message conversation.
Do plan invites expire?
No. They’ll remain in your inbox until you accept, decline, or the plan has ended.
Are notifications the same on web and the app?
Yes. Your inbox syncs across devices, so you’ll see the same conversations and notifications everywhere you’re signed in.
