Your inbox is where you'll see your notifications: new followers, plan invites and updates, and activity in your communities.

Opening your inbox
Tap the bell icon at the top right of your Home tab. A badge on the bell shows how many unread notifications you have.
Navigating your inbox
Your inbox has two tabs:
- unread: Notifications you haven't opened yet. Unread notifications have a dot next to them.
- all: Every notification you've received.
Managing your notifications
- Mark everything as read: Tap the broom icon.
- Delete a notification: Swipe left on it and tap delete. Changed your mind? Tap undo on the message that pops up.
- Change your notification settings: Tap the gear icon. See How to Manage Your Notifications for more.
New followers
When someone follows you, you'll see:
[their name] started following you
follow back to share plans and invites
While it's unread, you'll see two buttons:
- follow back: Follow them too, so you become friends. You won't see this button if you already follow them.
- dismiss: Clear the notification.
If you followed someone first and they follow you back, you'll see [their name] followed you back and you're now friends instead.
Other notifications you might see
- Plan alerts: Updates about plans you're part of.
- Plan invites: When someone invites you to a plan. If they added a note, you'll see it here too.
- Stars: You'll see someone starred you when someone stars you. If you've both starred each other, you'll see stars aligned! with a chat button so you can start a conversation.
- New posts: New posts in your Home feed.
- New members: When someone joins a community you run.
- Join requests: When someone asks to join a community you run.
FAQs
Where did my friend requests go?
Friend requests have been replaced by following. Any requests you had now show up as follow notifications. See Following & Friends on Pie.
How do I clear all my notifications at once?
Tap the broom icon to mark everything as read.
Can I get a deleted notification back?
Only right after deleting it. Tap undo on the message that pops up.
