Need to switch the phone number connected to your Pie account? We can help.
Before You Start
If you want to keep your current Pie account history, activity, friends, messages, and creator progress, your new phone number cannot already be tied to another Pie account.
If the new number already has a Pie account associated with it, that account will need to be deleted first.
To delete an existing account:
- Open Pie
- Go to your Profile tab (bottom right)
- Tap the Settings gear icon (top right)
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account
Identity Verification
For security reasons, we’ll need to verify ownership of the account before we can update your phone number.
In most cases, please contact Pie Support and include:
- your current phone number on the account
- the new phone number you’d like to switch to
- a government-issued ID for verification
However, if your account is set up under a community/group name or does not clearly reflect your personal identity, verification may instead happen through a confirmation code process tied to the email on the account.
If applicable, our team can send a verification code to the email connected to the account to confirm ownership.

Important Things to Know
- Phone number updates currently need to be handled manually by the Pie team
- The new phone number cannot already be attached to another active Pie account
- Deleting the account tied to the new number is permanent and cannot be undone
- Updating your number allows you to keep your existing Pie account history and activity tied to your original account
